I tried installing a linksys Wirless Adapter onto a Dell Inspiron 4100 laptop, and get a error that says: Example: 'Setup.exe - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point DecodePointer could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.' I have a feeling I might have not installed everything on the computer, maybe a service pack isn't updated is what I've found online. I'm not sure if the cd I have should do the trick, or if I need to download something online? I have all the CD's to install onto the computer if somebody can give me the rundown, thanks! If you know you have the correct major version (i.e., XP, Vista, 7, 8), then this usually indicates that software requires an older or newer minor version (service pack). Tentative research on DecodePointer suggests you need a newer version. I had the same problem also.

I had a few games for win7 and transferred therm to winxp and most games said decodepointerer error. It seems reinstalling a few games did the trick, but all other games still had the error.
It seems installed service pack 1,2, or 3 onto XP will fix it, although you may then get a different.dll error. Just update your whole OS to Windows Service Pack 3, as games that say 'windows xp compatible', really want to say 'Windows XP SP3 comaptible.' A few new games don't even run with Windows XP anymore. It may be worth it to update to Windows Vista, as it isn't so much of a performance jump in terms of CPU and RAM as Windows 7.

After the box pops up I press the 'Okay' button (that's the only one there) and it then opens Photoshop - which works perfectly. No other errors, no missing functions, no lag. I'm pretty sure getting an error during start up is a good indication that not everything is 100%.

However I realized when trying to combine it with an alignment grip (which actions on the basic or fundamental block rotation angle) that there didn't seem to be a way to some how link a dynamic block rotation action or one of the custom angle properties to a the fundamental block rotation angle. Thus there are two additive rotations at work; the dynamic block one with its grip and the fundamental rotation property.
This can cause some confusion when one person aligns with the grip and another via rotating the block's fundamental property and would also be problematic in the generalized sense if one was trying to select or programmatically read back the net angle alignment. Nov 21, 2011 I wish to create a dynamic block containing some attributes. These attributes are inside rectangles that can't be modified in length using linear parameters; but the attribute has to be always in the middle of the rectangle. So, I draw a line inside the rectangle (in a hidden layer) and insert the attribute with center justification (not sure for the translation) that I place in the middle of this line; then I put a coincidence constraint (not sure for the translation, but it's the first one) linking the middle of the line with the middle of the attribute. But here's the problem: when stretching my rectangle, the insertion point of the attribute suddenly changes from 'center' to 'bottom left'.
Nov 15, 2012 I have a dynamic block with several actions and parameters. There are three grip points. Two are visible. One appears when you move one of the other grips. If i insert or paste this block near my template, the X/Y basepoint stays near the template when i drag the block on the template with one of the other two grips. When i print the drawing the basepoint stays visible and the scale on my printed drawing is not correct (smaller). I found a replacement for the DLL that it's having trouble with, but that did nothing. I then tried out a program called Registrybooster, which found quite a few problems with my registry but failed to correct whatever is causing this problem. So I tried to backtrack a little bit and see if anything I had done since the last time the program worked (wednesday the prior week) had broken it. I had shut off some startup programs so i figured maybe that had something to do with it.
Unfortunately undoing those changes had absolutely no effect at all. I then tried out doing a repair install, which did nothing. After this, I did an uninstall and reinstall and. I run Windows XP home edition on this PC and have it updated to SP3.
