Software Battleground Targets Wow Addon
I've heard a bunch of twinks mourning the loss of BGT, and it doesn't look like the author is active or around. Haven't seen anything about legion updates for it. I found an addon called MrTarget that I've been using the past couple days.
It's updated for 7.0 and has about the same functionality (show team, left click target/right click focus, eventually shows EFC but not always instantly). The health bars actually seem a bit more responsive for me. I posted it in the goofy twink box profile updates thing the other day, but an actual thread probably wouldn't hurt. About us XPOff is the result of a merge with our old home, Twinkinfo. The goal of the website is to function as the primary hub for our community, and it is currently a safe harbor for those of us interested in the ancient, but still very much alive art of twinking in World of Warcraft. Site Functions.

Is a fantastically useful addon for random battlegrounds, and almost obligatory for rated battlegrounds. It’s a bit of a pain to set up, not having the most intuitive configuration menu, but it’s worth the trouble. Advantages and Use You can see Battlegroundtargets in action above, with various different indicators showing.

Wow Battleground Targets
First up, the left-hand column of player names. This clearly shows that I was, unfortunately, dead when I took this screenshot. But, I take solace in the fact that several of the opposition were too.
As if you needed an icon to notify you that you’re dead, the tiny skull and crossbones at the top of the column indicates just that. More usefully, though, is the cart indicator on the monk on the left-hand column. Just as you’d expect, this indicates that they have control of a cart.
This icon is replaced with a flag in Flag Carrier battlegrounds, and, as you can target enemy players directly from Battlegroundtargets, allows you to target the flag carrier from distance. This can be crucial to scoring effective kills. Battlegroundtargets also features target indicators, the cross you can see to the right of the warrior in the right-hand column is one of those. You can also set it up to have a focus target indicator, which is the smaller circle on the monk healer to the left. As you can see it also shows off the health of all your enemies, as well as their spec. There are additional features too, such as a summary panel that can be seen in the image to the right, which shows a round-up of the tanks, healers and DPS of each faction.
In RBGs, this applies to the starting end. Set-Up and Customization First and foremost, you’ll need to download.
Once you’ve done that, if you’ve downloaded just the folder rather than using the client, you’ll need to unzip it and copy it to the AddOns folder, which lives under Interface in your World of Warcraft installation directory. To open the configuration you can go into your Interface folder in game, and then over to the Addons section, then open it up. Or you can type /bgt, /bgtargets or /battlegroundtargets (if you’re feeling thorough) into chat. Your first step post-installation is to set up what sizes of battleground you want it active in. Due to the addon’s not inconsiderable size, and the fact that it’s very unwieldy in the big battlegrounds like Alterac Valley and Isle of Conquest, it seems good to have it set to only run in 10- and 15-man battlegrounds. This, of course, is entirely up to you — it can run in battlegrounds of any size.

The best way to set it up is to get the 10vs10 settings how you want them, then copy those to the 15vs15 settings, then, if you really want to, copy those settings across to 40vs40. I’d recommend making some changes to the sizing of the panes in 40vs40, though, or they’d be huge. The configuration is basically checkboxes. The configuration you can see above is pretty much the default, but with focus targets turned on. I find this works really well for me, but there are other options you could certainly consider activating. For example, you can switch on realms if you want to see where your opponents are from. You can activate “leader” if you want to see who the party leader is.
There’s also a fairly comprehensive resizing system, if the mood takes you. Next to the icons section, so the target, focus target, flag and main assist target are two sets of sliders. You can set the size of the icon with the percentage slider, and its left-right position with the other set. The overall scale of the panel can be modified at the bottom, with the three sliders. The overall layout can be modified from a column to a set of two columns, or other configurations for 40-man, at the top in the layouts section.
And don’t worry, the movement boxes are only there during configuration! You’ve hopefully noticed the “Copy these settings to 15v15″ button in the middle of the pane above, and this appears in every tab. If you look at the tabs at the top, you can see 40v40 is red, because it’s disabled. Enabling it is easy, look at the top left of the tab for a checkbox, and tick it. Then you can copy your settings over to 40v40, if that’s what you want to do.
