Step Download the free ware SETool Lite to your computer. (See Resources.) Install the SETool Lite software on the computer by double-clicking the file. Step Click on the 'Start' button on the computer and go to the computer's 'Device Manager.' Step Turn off the Sony Ericsson phone and remove its battery. Wait for at least 10 seconds before you put back the battery of the phone.
Turn it on again and press the 'C' button on the Sony Ericsson phone. This is located in the upper-right corner. Step Connect the mobile phone to the computer through the USB port.
The 'USB Flash Device' will then appear on the 'Device Manager.' Step Right-click 'USB Flash Device' and then select 'Update Driver Software.'
Step Click 'Browse my computer for driver software' when another window prompts you. Press the 'Browse' button and select the folder where the SETool Lite USB Flash Drivers are installed. Step Click on the 'Next' button to start the installation. Wait for the installation to be completed.
Flash the Sony Ericsson phone using SETool Lite. Step Switch off the Sony Ericsson phone and launch the SETool Lite application.

Choose the model of the Sony Ericsson phone from the SETool Lite window. Step Press the 'Add' button and choose the Main and FS files from the download folder.
Step Look for the archive with the customization files in the ZIP folder and select it. The customization details will appear on the left side of the window when the computer recognizes the program. Step Hit the 'Flash' button to start flashing the Sony Ericsson phone. Press and hold the 'C' button of the mobile phone while it is still connected to the computer. Wait until the process is completed. Step Unplug the Sony Ericsson phone from the computer.
Turn it off and take out its battery. Wait for five seconds and put back the battery again. Turn on the Sony Ericsson phone again. The phone will automatically restart. It will initialize for one or two minutes and after that, the phone will be flashed.
